I read everything that was on the main page, and I will say that a lot of times you had some really great little tidbits, like about the St. Louis Arch or the tiny handprints poem. When you wrote like that, there was such a nice show of emotion that I really enjoyed reading those entries. I also really loved the tons of pictures you had in every entry--it made reading really fun and interesting. I think that this is a really neat idea, the journalling, and that you're doing a nice job. Sometimes though, you would put in things that A) weren't yours or B) didn't hold any emotions from you (like links and stuff) and I think that you could probably do without them, as they only detract from your great writing (when you do it).

The top of the page looks great, it's just so long that I get lost in it. There's so much on the two sidebars that I can't keep track of it all. I like the pictures and the calendar and the navigation, but beyond that, the stuff isn't quite necessary enough to go on your main page. They really seem to detract from your writing. I really like the header though!
