I find your writing to be very interesting. I sort of landed in the middle of a part in your life that I could go back and read, if I had an internet connection (I'm doing your review through some copying-pasting while on vacation; I ran out of reading to do). First of all, I'm very impressed with your... introspection, if that is the proper word for it. You're very self-aware, and that's an important thing to be while you're taking this year off. Are you going to college next year, or just looking to kick out from wherever you are when this year ends? My parents always "suggested" (aka forced) me to not take a year off, but I don't really regret it. School is pretty habitual, and I personally needed to break free of where I had been. If staying home is working for you, then by all means, keep doing it. Just don't close yourself in when your friends start going away to school and wherever their lives are taking them: make new friends. I suppose I'm not even revieweing your content anymore!
Besides the hideous spelling/grammatical mistakes that MS Word was eager to point out with red and green squiggles, I don't find too much to complain about in your writing. It has a unique style, you're articulate in a good way for a weblog (worst word EVER invented). I'm impressed. Also impressed that you're my age, and you seem to be far more into looking for where your life is going; I wish I were doing that more than I am. Keep up the good work (if it's "good work" that it is?).
Design: (20/30)
Neat idea for the design, but I don't like it. The colors are nice, but the rest of it just makes me cringe. The images down the side aren't cohesive with the rest of the design, and neither is the drum set. The navigation is pretty bare and half doesn't even work (those images which are links). I think that a site intitled Knithat defiantely needs a knit hat on it! The colors are soft enough for it, but the pictures, yeah, I'd defiantely change them. That's my huge suggestion.
Update: (7/10)
It used to be every three days, if not more often, but now it's only about once or twice a week. Pick it back up again: frequency creates consistency for your readers, especially your reviewers.
Navigation: (4/5)
Well, like I said. It's pretty bare, and the links don't work. But, the navigation you have is easy to use, so that counts for something.
Errors: (1/5)
Those images that don't work. Ouch.

Nothing I could find!

Further Comments:
Ouch! I'm way sorry for that score! It's mainly the Bonus points that you missed out on. Do you have any extras at all? I'll change the score if you do and I just didn't find them.
