Content: You only have 11 entries, but I read all of them so I could critique your diary as accurately as possible. You're interesting and know who you are, but I will kill you if I see another justification, excuse, or address to your readers. Really, it's a diary, not a public service announcement. I've used that phrase countless times while reviewing, but it applies to you most of all. I had a good impression of your diary at first, but, after five or so entries, it became a drag. This won't get you points taken off your content score, but you are, in fact, very closeminded and it has nothing to do with your "closeminded?" entry. Actually, I'm not so sure if 'closeminded' is the best word to use in your case, but it is the best one I can come up with at the moment. I see it in your words, in the way you phrase everything, even your constant paragraph breaks. Which brings me to the next point: grammar. I'm not an expert, but you definitely need to work on yours. Your actual content isn't that bad, but not great; you admit the faults you're aware of and say what you think. However, the constant "Don't think I'm..." and other phrases of the like tell me that you're skeptical about saying something you feel in your own diary. That isn't good; it takes away from the meaning. If you show that you're doubting yourself, no one will listen. {16/30}
Design: Ah, it's the "This is me" layout by Diva Designs. Well, aren't they gaining tons of popularity ever since Lissy and Ali shut down? Personally, the picture doesn't come close to fitting with the saying, but it is "pretty". The scroll bar track color doesn't match the rest of the layout, but the other colors go well together. I like the different shades of yellow. All of the "+", "[[." and others of the like take away from the layout. After all, simplicity is beauty. They just make it look very cluttered and like you're trying too hard. That tagboard is definitely out of place; it would be better on a separate entry with a link to it on the main page. {21/30}
